The Girard Gazette Newsletter December 2020
December is Sharing and Caring Month at Girard Intermediate School. Students will participate in class and school activities throughout the month to demonstrate sharing and caring. As an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) in candidacy, international-mindedness is encouraged as we promote the understanding of our complex and interdependent world for our students to be inquisitive, caring, and responsible citizens.

Roasted Corn for all to Enjoy!
Girard students had a wonderful opportunity to taste an ear of roasted corn. The Dady Family brought their corn roaster to provide each student with their own hot, buttery ear of corn. For many, this was their first taste of roasted corn. The corn was provided by area co-ops. The experience for our students was in partnership with our Healthy Food for a Happy World grant.
