New DHS Wolves Spirit Shirts

Proceeds from the sales will benefit the DHS Yearbook Staff. Shirts may be ordered online, and the last day to order is Friday, November 6th.
DHS Virtual Day
Dothan High School students who attend in person classes will all learn virtually this Friday, October 30th. Students who do not have a device and/or Internet are being provided the equipment on Thursday before leaving school. Be sure to sign the technology forms given to your child if they will be provided equipment. All students who attend in-person classes will be required to participate in the virtual learning on Friday at their regularly scheduled class time and attendance will be taken. Breakfast and lunch for Friday will be sent home with your child on Thursday afternoon. This virtual day for students is being done to determine if the school can teach students remotely should the school close as we did last year. All teachers have been working with students this week to provide students with login information for Edgenuity and Google Classroom. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Class Ring Orders
It's time for Juniors to order class rings! Instead of an assembly to learn more about class rings, our local representatives at Herff-Jones have prepared a video presentation that provides ordering instructions. Juniors will also receive an informational packet on Wednesday, October 14th.
A Parents' Night Ordering Session will be held on Monday and Tuesday, October 19th and 20th, from 5:00 until 6:30 pm. If you are unable to attend one of the sessions, you may order your ring online. A $60 deposit is required to place an order.
Click here to watch the video. If you have any questions about ordering class rings, you may contact Herff-Jones at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 334-792-2233. Class rings may be ordered by clicking here.
DCS Help Desk
In partnership with Wiregrass Foundation, Personnel Resources, and local colleges to provide assistance for students/parents attending virtually this year, Dothan City Schools (DCS) is pleased to announce the launch of their Technology Help Desk. Through this partnership, local college students will be employed as part-time technicians to provide free technical support for virtual students who are having trouble with the hotspots or Chromebooks that were provided by DCS.
Dothan City Schools Technology Help Desk
Days: Monday - Friday
Time: 8 am - 3 pm CST
Please note: DCS can not support home internet or personally-owned computer issues as the configuration varies greatly and the resources to diagnose these systems/devices are not accessible by our technician(s).
Wallace College Events
Seniors and Senior Parents, Wallace College is sponsoring two events just for you!
Virtual Parents Night is Monday, October 12th, at 6:00 pm via Zoom meeting. We will be introducing ourselves, doing an overview of our programs, as well as answering questions to help students prepare for application week.
Virtual College Fair is Tuesday, October 20th, from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm & 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and again Tuesday, November 17th, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am & 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. It is open to all high school students! This is FREE event, but students must register to attend. There will be SEVERAL colleges participating from the entire state of Alabama, as well as out of state colleges. Students can learn more about the colleges, participate in a live chat, and see presentations from college representatives. Colleges will be collecting the students' contact information to follow up with them throughout the school year, so please encourage your students to register, attend, and make sure they click the “Send Info” button on the college’s booth pages.
For more information about both events, click here.

2020-2021 DHS Virtual Open House
Dothan High's administration, faculty and staff have been working very hard to get our school ready for your return. We can't wait for September 8th! We have some awesome new teachers, and others have moved to new classrooms. Covid has forced us to make some changes, but we're going to have another great year as the Dothan High Wolves!
Because we are unable to have a traditional open house to kick off the school year, we've created a Virtual Open House to introduce you to some new faces and get you excited about seeing your favorite teachers again. Enjoy!
Student Parking Permits
Junior and senior students who currently have a valid driver's license and are planning to drive to DHS this school year must purchase a parking permit. Click here to complete the form to register for a parking permit. There are scheduled times for students to pick up their permits and pay the $15 fee. Sophmore students who have a valid driver's license and wish to drive on campus should complete the online Google Form Parking Application and bring $15 Tuesday, September 8th.
Student Enrollment & Withdrawal Procedures
Due to Covid-19, our enrollment and withdrawal procedures have been adjusted slightly. Please click the link below to print and complete the enrollment forms and instructions. If you are unable to print the forms, please email the DHS registrar, Mrs. Waters, or the head guidance counselor, Mrs. Bratcher, to arrange a time to pick up the forms. Completed forms may be emailed to Mrs. Waters (email@example.com) or Mrs. Bratcher (firstname.lastname@example.org). A $20 technology fee is due at the completion of student enrollment.
Please print and complete the withdrawal form to withdraw your student from Dothan High School. If you are unable to print the form and instructions, please email the DHS registrar, Mrs. Waters, or the head guidance counselor, Mrs. Bratcher, to arrange a time to pick up the form. Completed forms may be emailed to Mrs. Waters (email@example.com) or Mrs. Bratcher (firstname.lastname@example.org). Please include a copy of the parent/guardian driver's license. After we receive a records request from the receiving school, we will withdraw your student and mail all paperwork to the receiving school. Please note that all outstanding fees must be paid before records will be sent.
*These forms and information can also be found on the DHS Guidance page.
Transcript Request Changes
Starting July 1st, transcript requests will be processed differently. Instead of e-SCRIP, in which you come to the school, fill out a request, and pay the processing fee, we are switching to a new process called Parchment.
With Parchment, you will visit the Parchment website (click here), pay their ordering fee, and we will send the transcript where you request for it to be sent. This link is also on our website under "Guidance."
